DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
The outfits are made up of many parts, crocheted and knitted individually. These parts are fixed on a sheat dresses. The fabrics are entirely embroidered by a particular machine stitch.
The project takes inspiration from Ophelia (John Everett Millais) and the beauty of her natural landscape. There is a particular attention for every detail just like the work of art. The key concept is the relationship between death (Death/dark colour=Ophelia) and life (life/white colour=nature).
The fabrics are cachemire and boucle´ wool. Knitted parts are made up of angora wool, cotton and raffia yarns.
