DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

The colection depicts three feminine archtypes: The Warrior (outfit of 3 garments, ispired by the Samurai warriors), the Princess (dress inspired by the traditional kimono), and the Priestess (outfit of 2 garments inspired by the Zen gardens). All the collection represents independance, femininity and harmony.

INSPIRATION

Japanese art expressed in the decorative arts, warlike art and contemplative art, applied in form and content. In this collection the simplicity and harmony of the lines reflects the union with nature and with life. Duality and equilibrium in textures and colours.

MATERIALS USED

Unbleached natural colour 100% cotton, and also hand tinted cotton for the textile design, using the technique of the Japanese dye “Shibori” in it´s Maki-Age style. Goat skin and metal buckles.
